Lakeview Stables has the largest, lighted arena in Pinellas County. The arena is available for rent for shows through out the year. The barn is an active barn and holds it's own shows annually also.
Other amineties are a lighted roundpen, a large jump field, a dressage type ring with letters, shady oaks for cooling off, plenty of turn outs and cross ties.
Lakeview is a family oriented barn and our riders can be as young as 2 years old! Though the boarders are very active with their horses, the grounds are large enough to find a quiet place by the lake to graze your horse away from all the activity. Our lake is stocked with wild large mouth bass and other Florida wildlife. Fishing is allowed by boarders as long as it's catch and release. We want to leave as little footprint as possible on our wild lake.
There are 4 different barns and the stall prices range from $160 to $200 per month for partial board. Partial board is where you purchase your own feed and hay and take care of your own horse. The barn will throw your feed twice daily and our kind boarders also will throw extra lunch or dinner hay for you too! There is always a responsible adult or teen who will clean your stalls for you for a small fee too. The boarders really pitch in to help each other.
Stalls range in size depending on the barn you choose. Lakeview Stables has draft sized stalls too!
The barn managers, Dale and Janis, have owned horses in Pinellas County for many years. They are fair and honest managers who know horses and love the barn. They work hard keeping this large place well maintained and safe for your horses. Their daughters and grand daughters ride and show also.
