Volunteers

Volunteer Forms

Our volunteers are our backbone for our horses and the programs we offer.

We accept volunteers ages 13 and up who have horse experience to help around the barn, and in our programs.

Dirty Hands

Expectations

Our volunteers clean stalls, scrub water buckets, move hay bales, clean tack, sweep crossties, lead horses, groom and tack up horses, sweep cobwebs, hand graze horses, assist at events, help with club and camps and much more.

What are the perks?

Our horses love our volunteers!

You earn occasional ride time.

Sometimes we host volunteer appreciation days which has included a fun show with ribbons and pizza or a day at Helen Howarth Park for a trail ride.

Ready to Start?

You should know, we are not a 501c3 organization, but if you are in need of a good non-profit to validate your hours, we are happy to refer you to several local ones that may accommodate you.

Next thing you need to know is because we work with children, you will be required to pass a background check.

General volunteers days are on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 9am till 12pm.

Once you are established and we get to know you better, we'll invite you to volunteer for events such as horse shows, birthday parties, summer horse camps and Horse clubs.
