The Littlefoot Literacy Program

Encouraging readers and inspiring young authors with the creativity of pony participation.

Unplug and Connect

Some days I long for the long summer days of my past. You know, those days spent sitting against the trunk of an old oak tree, moss dancing like an old man’s beard in dappled sunlight, with a horse book in my lap. I yearn for moments like those and then I pick up my phone…

Let’s take back those moments.

Meet Miss Alisha

(Littlefoot’s Hu-mom)

Miss Alisha is a professional daydreamer from way back in her school age days. She grew up a horse lover in a horseless family and found her passion in books, Breyers, and the occasional riding lesson in those early days. One of her favorite books to read was Walter Farley’s Little Black, A Pony. Today, she has the pleasure of bringing her very own Little Black to you and your child.

Littlefoot

Little is an aging lesson pony who has taught countless children to ride. He has watched many tiny riders grow up and become accomplished equestrians. We believe he remembers each and every one of them.

Littlefoot’s Literacy

It’s not school. There are no tests and grades. It’s not perfection.

It’s just real connection, creativity, and ponies through our Snail Mail Club and Monthly Meetups.

What do we do?
