The Barn Kid Club
Where riders become horse people.
Ages 7–14
For many horse-loving kids, one lesson a week just isn't enough. They want to spend the day at the barn—grooming horses, riding with friends, learning new skills, and discovering what it really takes to care for horses. The Barn Kid Club was created for those kids.
Held throughout the school year from September through May, this themed, three-hour experience gives young equestrians the opportunity to step beyond the riding lesson and into everyday barn life. Participants spend time grooming and tacking up their horse, enjoy a riding lesson, and work alongside our instructors learning the daily responsibilities that keep a barn running. From cleaning stalls and filling water buckets to sweeping the barn and preparing feed, every activity helps build confidence, responsibility, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of horsemanship.
Barn Kid Club is beginner friendly and riding lessons will be tailored to the rider’s capabilities. We have plenty of Jr. Volunteers who can mentor and guide our young beginners under the close supervision of the Riding Instructor.
With only six to eight participants per session, every Barn Kid receives plenty of hands-on instruction and individual attention. Riders are welcome to attend a single session or join us throughout the year—each Barn Kid Club is registered individually, allowing families the flexibility to choose the dates that work best for them.
Investment: $125 per session. A $25 non-refundable deposit reserves your spot, with the remaining balance due on the day of the event. Please contact Alisha for your discount if you are a returning Barn Club Kid.

Barn Kids Club Dates for 2026/2027
Registration is open for the dates through the end of 2026.
The dates for 2027 are tentative as it’s horse show season and the schedule is not out yet. Once the schedule is out, we’ll finalize the dates and open registration for 2027.
January 10th & 17th
February 7th & 21st
March 14th & 21st
April 4th & 18th
May 2nd end of year party
Each month has a themed learning plan.
For Example: Safety September is all about how horses see the world differently from humans and learning how they experience the environment helps us understand how we can stay safe while working with them.
You always hear, "Don't go behind the horse." but we want to teach you why you need to cautious and what warning signs to look for to keep from being kicked. Because most horses don't randomly kick just because someone walks up behind them.
