What is Letters from Littlefoot?
Letters from Littlefoot is a January–December 2027 snail-mail and online literacy club created for young horse lovers.
Each month, a real Florida lesson pony named Littlefoot sends your reader a story-filled letter package designed to make reading feel personal, playful, and worth looking forward to.
How the club grows young readers and writers
• Gives children a joyful reason to read every month
• Encourages writing through questions, prompts, and story submissions
• Connects literacy with confidence, kindness, responsibility, perseverance, and other life skills
• Celebrates each member as a reader, thinker, and future author
What arrives each month
• A physical letter and original Littlefoot story
• Hoofprints in the Sand, with a herd introduction, a Florida horse fact, and a little lesson-horse gossip
• Stickers, photos, or another themed surprise or activity
• Questions and writing prompts that invite your reader to create
• Fresh members-only videos, pony education, games, and bonus posts online

Each story uses the monthly theme to help readers explore life lessons through Littlefoot's pony-sized point of view.
Who it is for
The program is designed especially for ages 7–13, but horse-loving children outside that range are welcome. Enrollment must be completed and managed by a parent or legal guardian.
Your 2027 membership includes
• 12 monthly letter packages delivered January through December 2027
• A January welcome with Littlefoot's membership card and goal-setting activity
• Members-only videos, pony education, games, bonus posts, and themed activities
• Birthday wishes from Littlefoot during your reader's special month
• Opportunities to submit stories, receive encouraging feedback, and be considered for the year-end Littlefoot Literacy Award
• A possible local member meet-and-greet in Pinellas County, if scheduled
