LETTERS FROM LITTLEFOOT MEMBERSHIP TERMS
Effective date: July 30, 2026
These Membership Terms apply to the 2027 Letters from Littlefoot literacy membership offered by Pinellas Horse / Littlefoot Literacy Program. By purchasing or managing a membership, the responsible adult agrees to these Terms and the Privacy & Young Reader Data Policy.
1. WHO MAY ENROLL
Letters from Littlefoot is designed especially for young readers ages 7–13, while welcoming younger and older youth. A membership must be purchased and managed by a parent, legal guardian, grandparent, other family member, or responsible caregiver who is at least 18 years old and connected to the young reader. Adults may not enroll solely for themselves.
The adult is responsible for the account, payment method, mailing information, permissions, and supervision of the young reader's use of the member site.
2. 2027 PROGRAM TERM
The program covers January 1 through December 31, 2027. It includes physical membership mail planned for January through December 2027 and access to the Letters from Littlefoot member site during the 2027 program year.
This purchase does not include an automatic 2028 continuation. Any future program or renewal will be offered separately if Letters from Littlefoot continues. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, 2027 member-site access ends December 31, 2027.
Enrollment is intended to be completed before the January program begins. If late enrollment is offered, the signup page or a written message from us will explain which past or remaining materials are included.
3. WHAT THE MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES
The membership is planned to include:
• one physical Letters from Littlefoot mailing for each month from January through December 2027;
• a letter from the program creator and a story or message from Littlefoot;
• themed surprises or literacy activities, which may include stickers, goal-setting sheets, a membership card, games, prompts, or comparable items;
• additional member-site content such as videos, posts, scavenger hunts, games, and reading or writing inspiration; and
• an optional birthday acknowledgment when the responsible adult provides the young reader's birthday month and day.
Themes, formats, items, and online content may vary by month. A birthday postcard, a particular bonus item, or delivery on an exact date is not guaranteed.
4. PRICING AND PAYMENT OPTIONS
The 2027 membership has two payment options:
• Annual option: one payment of $195.
• 12-payment option: 12 monthly installments of $19.95, for a total of $239.40.
The annual option reflects a discounted price of $16.25 per program month. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown at checkout.
The 12-payment option is a fixed-amount installment plan processed through Squarespace. The first installment is charged at purchase and later installments are charged automatically to the saved payment method on the schedule shown at checkout. It is not a month-to-month subscription that the member can cancel from the customer account. To stop future installments, the responsible adult must send us a cancellation request so we can cancel the membership in Squarespace.
Neither payment option automatically renews for 2028.
5. CANCELLATION REQUESTS
To cancel, the responsible adult must email PinellasHorse@hotmail.com with the subject line “Letters from Littlefoot Cancellation.” Please include:
• the responsible adult's name;
• the email address used for the membership; and
• the young reader's first or preferred name.
Please do not include a full date of birth or payment-card information.
A cancellation request must be received at least 30 days before the next planned mailing. This lead time allows us to stop personalization, printing, packing, and mailing. We will reply to confirm when the request has been processed. The responsible adult should keep that confirmation.
If a request arrives less than 30 days before the next planned mailing, that mailing may already be in preparation. In that case, the next mailing and related payment will be treated as used, and cancellation will apply beginning with the following eligible month.
6. CANCELLATION OF THE 12-PAYMENT OPTION
When a timely cancellation request is processed, we will cancel the membership in Squarespace so that remaining future installments stop. Payments already charged are not refunded for months whose materials were delivered, mailed, or already entered preparation under the 30-day cutoff.
Because Squarespace requires us to cancel this fixed-installment membership on the member's behalf, sending the written request and receiving our confirmation are important.
Member-site access ends when we process the cancellation and remove the member from the pricing plan.
7. CANCELLATION OF THE ANNUAL OPTION AND PRORATED REFUNDS
A member who paid the $195 annual price may cancel before the next eligible mailing and receive a prorated refund for unused months.
The refund is calculated at the discounted annual rate of $16.25 for each unused month. A month is considered used if its physical mailing was delivered, mailed, or already entered preparation under the 30-day cancellation cutoff. No refund is provided for used months.
Any approved refund is returned through the original payment method when possible. The payment processor's posting time may vary. Member-site access ends when we process the cancellation and remove the member from the pricing plan.
8. MAILING ADDRESS AND DELIVERY
The responsible adult must provide a complete and accurate mailing address and must notify us of any address change at least 30 days before the next planned mailing. The outer envelope will be addressed to the responsible adult. Materials inside may be personalized with the young reader's first or preferred name and interests.
Mailing and delivery dates are estimates. Postal delays, weather, incorrect addresses, forwarding, and other events outside our control may affect delivery. If a mailing appears lost or damaged, contact us at PinellasHorse@hotmail.com so we can review the situation.
9. MEMBER ACCOUNT AND ONLINE ACCESS
The membership account must use the responsible adult's email address and remain under adult control. The adult may allow the enrolled young reader to enjoy the content with the adult's knowledge and supervision.
Login credentials and member content may not be shared outside the enrolled household, resold, publicly posted, copied in bulk, or used for commercial purposes. We may suspend or remove access for misuse, unlawful activity, payment failure, or a material violation of these Terms.
10. YOUNG READER PRIVACY AND SAFETY
Young readers should not submit personal information directly through the site. The responsible adult should complete forms, manage communications, and contact us about any request.
Please do not send a child's email address, phone number, school, social media information, full date of birth, or sensitive information. Our handling of membership information is described in the Privacy & Young Reader Data Policy.
11. PROGRAM CHANGES OR INTERRUPTION
We may make reasonable substitutions to themes, bonus items, activities, delivery methods, or release dates while preserving the overall value and purpose of the program.
If we cannot provide a future physical mailing or member access for reasons within our control and cannot offer a reasonable replacement, we will provide an appropriate credit or refund for the affected unused portion. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal carriers, severe weather, emergencies, service outages, or other events outside our reasonable control.
12. EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE
Letters from Littlefoot is intended to encourage reading, imagination, creativity, and writing. It is not tutoring, therapy, childcare, or a guarantee of any academic result. The responsible adult remains responsible for deciding whether materials are appropriate for the young reader.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Letters, stories, illustrations, activities, videos, posts, downloads, and other program materials are owned by or licensed to Pinellas Horse / Littlefoot Literacy Program. A membership provides a limited, personal, noncommercial right for the enrolled household to enjoy the materials during the program. It does not transfer ownership or permit resale, republication, or commercial use.
14. UPDATES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms for legal, safety, operational, or program reasons. If a change materially affects an existing 2027 membership, we will notify the responsible adult by email or another reasonable method before the change applies. Changes will not reduce a refund already owed under the cancellation terms in effect when the membership was purchased.
