Our Instructors

A&A Equestrian Coaches employs several instructors, each with different background, expertise, and teaching skills. This brings a dynamic learning environment to A&A Equestrian. Our shared philosophy is that the horse is your living, breathing, partner.

Alisha's lifelong love of horses began in 1976 with her very first riding lesson on a pony named Brownie. Three years later, she welcomed her first pony, Tonto, and never looked back.

Since becoming a professional riding instructor in 2001, Alisha has helped countless riders discover the confidence, partnership, and life lessons horses can teach. Her passion extends far beyond riding—she believes horses have the power to build character, resilience, and self-confidence that lasts a lifetime.

Today, Alisha teaches select lessons, mentors the next generation of riding instructors, helps organize local horse shows, and oversees the daily operations of A&A Equestrian, supporting both her team and the riders she loves.

Caitey began riding in Miss Alisha's program in the summer of 2007. As she developed her horsemanship skills, Alisha recognized not only her natural ability with horses but also her dedication, leadership, and unwavering desire to keep learning.

Over the years, Caitey embraced every opportunity to grow. Through hard work, a growth mindset, and a genuine passion for teaching, she progressed from student to instructor and now serves as the Managing Director of A&A Equestrian.

Today, Caitey oversees many of the day-to-day operations of the program while continuing to mentor riders of all ages. She is known for her patient instruction, attention to detail, and commitment to helping every student build confidence, develop strong horsemanship skills, and create meaningful partnerships with their horses.

Alley began her journey with horses as a young rider in Saddle Up Riding Club before continuing her education through A&A Equestrian. Growing up in the barn, she embraced every opportunity to learn, developing the confidence, work ethic, and horsemanship that have become the foundation of her teaching.

Over the years, Alley has grown into one of A&A Equestrian's trusted leaders. She manages our Summer Horse Camps and Barn Kid Club, teaches English riding lessons, and helps create a fun, safe, and encouraging environment where young riders can thrive.

Alley's passion for learning extends beyond teaching. She is currently retraining a former racehorse, Soul, for dressage and jumping, giving her firsthand experience in the patience, consistency, and problem-solving that horse training requires.

Sydney began riding at A&A Equestrian in 2020 and quickly immersed herself in every aspect of the program. Her enthusiasm for learning, positive attitude, and willingness to help others soon made her a natural fit as an instructor.

Having grown through the program herself, Sydney understands exactly what it feels like to be a beginner. That perspective allows her to connect with young riders, encourage their progress, and celebrate each new accomplishment alongside them.

Today, Sydney teaches beginner lessons and assists with A&A Equestrian's youth programs, where her patience, kindness, and enthusiasm help create a welcoming environment for every rider. She loves watching her students gain confidence, learn new skills, and discover the same passion for horses that first inspired her.
